Details of Position
Lingua Point is an independent, well-established language school in Reggio Emilia, with a high reputation in our local area: in fact, excellence in didactics is what distinguishes our school from its competitors. We are an AISLi school (Italian Association of Language Schools, ), so we are committed to looking after our students and staff by guaranteeing transparent working conditions, a well-rounded in-house CPD program, a strong and constant support by the DOS and coordinators. We are a Cambridge English Assessment exam centre, so also offer the opportunity to train to become Speaking Examiners (dependent on experience, meeting Cambridge requirements); we are also well-known among companies so Business English or ESP courses could be requested; therefore we provide a 360° teaching experience.
We are looking for fun and creative teachers who enjoy teaching children and teenagers, who want to genuinely help them develop a passion for English and maybe achieve a certificate; this also applies to our GE classes for adult students. The candidate must be a reflective practitioner, looking to work alongside dedicated colleagues and to contribute in making a friendly yet professional learning and working environment; a comprehensive professional development programme is offered, as well as peer observations, team teaching and appraisal opportunities, a well-stocked staffroom with all the latest teaching resources.
